Fishing in Northern Ontario

Fishing is great in Restoule. Commanda Lake has some of the best Walleye (Pickerel) fishing in Ontario, as well as Bass, Pike, Crappie and Pan Fish.  Lake Restoule and Stormy Lake are nearby and offer great Musky fishing as well.  Back Lake fishing is enjoyable and often very productive. Sand Lake, Schoal Lake, Lennon Lake and many other back lakes are accessible, and offer a wilderness adventure you’ll always remember.

Go fishing with us at Cedar Grove Camp!

Commanda Lake (at Cedar Grove Camp)

Walleye, Pike, Bass, Crappie and more…

Fish right off the dock or from your boat for Pickerel (Walleye), Small and Largemouth Bass, Pike, Crappie, and Panfish.  Results are best in the spring, a little slower in the summer, and decent in the fall.  Boat launch available at Cedar Grove Camp (for guests only), and a public launch for larger boats.  We have several docks for your own boat, and rentals available. Spring Pickerel fishing in Ontario is best right from the dock at Cedar Grove Camp.

Restoule Lake

Fish Restoule Lake for Pike, Muskie, Pickerel, Bass or Lake Trout.  Accessible boat launch and beautiful scenery.

Stormy Lake

Stormy Lake is adjacent to the Restoule Provincial Park and has an easy boat launch, great for larger boats.  This lake is very scenic and the view alone is breathtaking.  Fish for Muskie here…and much more.  Hike down the scenic waterfall to Lennon Lake from Stormy.

Back Lake Fishing

Looking for something a little different?  There are so many back lakes to choose from – all loaded with fish.  Bass, pickerel and more…

We have many boats already located at these lakes.  Choose from Sand Lake, Schoal Lake, Burnt Lake, Lennon Lake and many more!
