Book a stay with us in Edward’s Edge cottage for 2 nights or more between January 10, 2022 and March 10, 2022 and you can register to receive a $50 gas card and $50 in vouchers that can be spent at any participating business in the Explorer’s Edge region.

Ontario Staycation Tax Credit
The Ontario government announced its plan for a staycation tax credit in their Fall Economic Statement. Ontarians would get a 20 per cent personal income tax credit on eligible accommodation expenses between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2022, up to a maximum of $1,000 for an individual and $2,000 for a family, for a maximum credit of $200 or $400 respectively. Ontario residents could apply for this refundable credit when they file their 2022 personal tax returns and benefit even if they do not owe any tax. Stays at Cedar Grove Camp would be eligible for this tax credit. More info can be provided as it becomes available.
